Maleny Commerce update

After a few months break, we’re looking to get our networking breakfasts up and running in September, with a local, community line up at Maleny’s very own Neighbourhood Centre. Meet BJ Murphy, Jinibara culture man, who will be talking about the Munnimbah-Dja Culture Space, the Sunshine Coast’s first Indigenous owned and operated gallery and culture space – here in Maleny.  We also have Donna Turner from the Maleny State High School Chaplaincy Program talking about the important work they are doing with Maleny’s youth at the high school. Our Spring line-up is going to be a great opportunity to hear these folks speak about the great work they are respectively doing and also your opportunity to network with other Maleny businesses and Community Group representatives.

Besides advocating on behalf of Maleny Businesses through our communications with Local, State and Federal governments (e.g., our communications to repeal the Covid mandate that unfairly targeted our small hospitality businesses) and promoting local business through our “I Love Maleny Gift Cards” (almost $150,000 invested already) our Networking Breakfasts are one of the most important things we contribute to our community. It’s a great opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in the vibrant business community we’re all part of. To join us for our September breakfast, visit our website for further details and to book. Keep up the good business, Maleny.
